The competitive role will include weekly work compiling competitive news and information for broad internal reporting, as well as ad hoc and project work to help compile competitive information for quarterly reporting and analysis. The portfolio role will include more technical Excel, Access and internal database work as well as follow-up with many data owners to create and update ongoing portfolio reporting and ad hoc analysis.
This is a non-management position and career path. While strong performance will always be recognized and rewarded, opportunity for promotion and advancement is very limited. The minimum expectation is that the successful candidate will hold this role for at least 3-5 years before having opportunity to seek a position in another part of the business. While excellence and results are expected, the demands of the role are consistent with a 40 hour work week, with occasional need to work a slightly flex schedule to meet unusual short-term business demands. Flexibility is appreciated.

Candidates must also be able to demonstrate through prior experience the ability to lead small group discussions with peers and more senior employees, including some higher level managers.
