EnerSys, the world leader in stored energy solutions for industrial applications, is seeking a Field Service Technician to cover the Union City, CA area.  The responsibilities include installing, inspecting, servicing, and replacing industrial batteries and chargers with or without supervision.  The qualified candidate should have:

- A strong mechanical aptitude for battery and charger repair

- A basic electrical understanding is strongly recommended

- A desire to work independently on-site at customer locations

- The ability to quickly analyze and logically troubleshoot defective equipment

- Perform basic testing procedures, and provide on-site team leadership

- The ability to analyze situations and make a decision, and provide immediately feedback to the customer
