Tasks and Responsibilities:

 

Perform scheduled routine preventive maintenance on mechanical or electrical equipment/systems under contract agreement by inspecting, adjusting, cleaning and calibrating systems and checking out equipment to ensure it’s in satisfactory working order.  Completes maintenance, within assigned labor load PM hours, in a manner that reduces emergency calls and results in achieving the goal of zero calls back.Responds to emergency service calls as directed to keep system downtime to minimum. Analyzes, trouble-shoots, repairs and restores equipment/systems to full operation and recommends revisions/replacements when necessary to improve system.Makes minor to complex repairs to mechanical units, remotes, I/O equipment, CPU’s and software systems.  Replaces complex or non-repairable units and returns them to the branch. Performs or assists with engineering, planning, scheduling, and installing simple to complex systems or modifications to existing systems.  May plan, schedule, and lay out complex electrical equipment installations. Instructs and/or trains customers or customer representatives on systems maintenance and operating procedures.Promotes, builds and maintains good customer relations and assists in contract retention; informs supervisor or customer needs, requirements, systems status, and actual or potential customer problems.

Basic Requirements:

Bachelors Degree or Minimum 4-6 years related mechanical, technical and HVAC experience required

Additional Requirements:

Bachelors Degree preferrably in Mechanical or Electrical engineering Technical knowledge of HVAC, fire alarms, security, electronic and mechanical systems and Direct Digital Controls Systems In-depth knowledge of HVAC controls, security and computer systems DDC electronic controls experience Computer literate in MS Word, Excel and Outlook Excellent oral and written communication skills   Customer-relations skills Primary orientation towards process/systems, speed, cost quality and customer value creation, and results Teamwork capabilities     Adapt well to change, flexibility and resilience Ability to work collaboratively  Other Requirements: Security and Fire experience Excellent communication/phone skills Operational planning and execution skills Excellent time management and organizational skills
