T&G Management Services is part of Kärcher Group, a global leader in building and equipment maintenance.  We have over 35 years of experience providing service and after-market parts to the large retail store industry nationwide, repairing and supplying parts for floor cleaning and material handling equipment.  We are currently seeking a self-motivated Field Service Mechanic to join our high caliber team of professionals in the Nothern Washington DC/Richmond, VA area

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily interaction with customers providing the highest levels of service and productivityRecognizing and securing additional revenue opportunitiesResponsible for van inventory and accuracyContinuous responsive communication with Dispatch call center to receive assignments and report statusResponsible for safety of van and for assuring that regular vehicle maintenance checks are performedDaily completion and submission of documentation (work orders, parts replenishment, time sheets, etc.)  

QUALIFICATIONS

Repairing and maintaining Floor Care equipment (scrubbers, burnishers & extractors) and Material Handling equipment (electric pallet jacks, forklifts, conveyors & dock plates) 2-3 years of basic electro mechanical exp (AC/DC circuit exp a plus) Service industry exp a plus Clean driving record Works well in a team atmosphere and independently Good oral and written communication skills High school diploma or equivalent
