Daifuku America Corporation, a global leader in the manufacture, installation and service of automated material handling systems, is seeking a qualified Field Service Engineer for our Lexington, Kentucky location. 

The qualified candidate will possess a BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent coupled with a minimum of three (3) years of work related experience.  Experience with supervision of mechanical and electrical installation of automotive conveyors, and general knowledge of PLC programming is required. 

Candidate must have the ability to manage engineering vendors on project (s).  The successful candidate will supervise sub contractors, monitor schedules and budgets, work with customer for service and technical support, and prepare proposals and estimates. 

Knowledge of Auto CAD, Microsoft Project, Work, Excel, and Powerpoint are required.  Experience using Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, GE Fanuc, and Omron PLC software is also a requirement.

This candidate will work very closely with our customer in Georgetown, KY.  Interpersonal skills are a must!
