Duties & Responsibilities
Troubleshooting, installation and repair of the semiconductor equipment including PVD & Etching Systems.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
Trouble Support & Customer Support Identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures. Orders and replaces parts as needed. Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs. Makes a daily report and weekly report to the Field Service Engineering Manager. May require (1) hour telephone response and (4) hour on-site response between 8:30AM to 5:00PM in 7 days a week.Training Trains other Field Service Engineers and customer on equipment usage/maintenance.
Experience RequirementsMust have 2 - 5 years experience as Vacuum Component repair service. Must have a good communication with employees and customers. This includes being available and in contact through various means, including wireless devices (such as pagers, cell phones, text messaging devices, etc.) Must be available and dependable for flexible schedule of work hours and business trip, including weekends. Must be able to work efficiently, independently and with minimum supervision. Must make and submit a daily report and weekly report to the field service engineering manager.
Education RequirementsBachelor's degree in related areas or equivalent experience is preferred.
