Wendy’s has an opening for a Field Maintenance Supervisor in Virginia Beach VA. This position provides general maintenance and repair of all company buildings, equipment and property within the market through the effective use of company technicians and general contractors.

 

Candidates must have general knowledge of construction, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical repair and plumbing in addition to the ability to set and maintain budgets and supervise maintenance technicians.

 

Some accountabilities of the successful candidate are:

Scheduling of projects and assignment of emergency repair work to area maintenance personnel and/or outside contractors;Cooperating with the Director of Area Operations in establishing maintenance objectives and completing preventive maintenance;Overseeing all related maintenance duties required within the market to ensure high levels of restaurant operating standards; and,Assuring the management and development of assigned staff through effective and timely supervision and performance management.

Education and/or Experience

 

Required: Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) HVAC/R Type 1 and Type 2 certification, Technical HVAC training and certification, and 2 or more years of experience in repair of heating, air conditioning, refrigeration and cooking equipment; or the equivalent combination of education (Associate’s Degree) and experience.
