An Environmental Consulting Company is looking to add a Field Chemist to their Hazardous waste team. The company offers a great work environment with good people. This would be a great opportunity for an individual with a chemistry major who is looking for an exciting position that enables you to work outside. Also, anyone who has a strong background in chemistry and chemical reaction would be a great fit for this opportunity. Below is the job description.

Individual will be responsible for working individually or in teams, packing laboratory waste and performing drum surveying and sampling at various client locations. The individual will respond to fuel/chemical spills and perform other field related activities. Coordinate lab pack projects from start to completion including assessment of equipment and supplies needed for individual projects. Strong knowledge of RCRA and DOT regulations along with knowledge of chemical compatibilities and segregations is required. Individual must effectively interface with customers and company personnel. The position also requires occasional travel throughout Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma for up to three days at a time.
