Basic Function

To build, test and troubleshoot fiber optic connectors and assemblies, both in house and in the field.

Responsibilities

1.       Assemble and test fiber optic cables and assemblies, both in house and in the field.

2.       Apply technical knowledge of company products and services to best meet customer needs.

3.       Delivery quality product on-time to meet customer needs and expectations.

4.       Track time and expenses and report to supervisor as required.

5.       Act as Field Service technician, performing installation and testing, at customer specified locations, as required.

6.       Interact with customers to resolve problems and complete projects/jobs within required parameters.

7.       Will be required to work in various environments (in shop, on ships, etc.).

8.       Travel is required.

9.       Perform other related duties as assigned.
