Federal Sales Account Manager
ProTelecom, a Maryland based 8(a) Audiovisual, Videoconferencing and Data Network Systems Engineering and Integrations Company is seeking to fill the position of Sales Account Manager. The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for customer account development and revenue. The position requires daily interaction with existing and potential customers to ensure a continuous sales pipeline.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain and expand customer base by identifying and creating sales opportunities Lead negotiations and overcome objections Develop sales techniques to effectively identify and qualify strong, qualified new business opportunities Promote and up-sell ProTelecom services through direct interaction with the customers via phone or in personEffectively demonstrate ProTelecom products and services Generate price quotes for customers and ensure the order process is smoothly transitioned Ensure that the customer’s requirements are being met and exceededEnsure account retention and effective relationship development Proactively address customer-affecting quality issues Provide internal communications as needed on customer status and opportunities Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly sales reportsEffectively track all leads and contactsOther work related duties as assignedJOB REQUIREMENTS:
Proven track record of consistently exceeding corporate objectives and quotas Experience in a fast paced, technology environment Ability to work independently or in a team Degree qualified. Preferably in communications, marketing/sales, business or equivalent Minimum 2-years professional selling experience in high-tech or service related industry Previous experience with videoconferencing or other technical environment of benefitAbility to build relationships and quickly develop trustMaintain a professional working relationship with customers, peers and supervisorsExcellent presentation, communication, organization, time management skills Strong work ethic Solid problem solving and consultative skills requiredDetailed orientated Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks Strong computer proficiency Willing to act interdependently for company and self success Ability to effectively manage time to meet individual sales goals
