With over 30 years of experience, Bound Tree Medical is the leading distributor of emergency medical equipment and related supplies to Emergency Medical Service Units, Fire and Police Departments, and other pre-hospital services throughout the United States. We have approximately 230 employees and are located in Ohio, New Hampshire, California, Arizona, Mississippi, Wisconsin and South Carolina.

The Bound Tree Medical Federal Government Division specializes in emergency medical equipment and supplies for the U.S. Military, CIA, FBI and other government agencies. Our customers are supported through a team of knowledgeable account managers with significant EMS and Military experience. 

Our corporate office in Dublin, Ohio has an immediate opening for a Federal Government Sales Customer Service Representative.  This representative will assist in the sales effort by placing orders, following up on customer concerns, facilitating the completion of bids and contracts, and by assisting with electronic billing transactions.

Primary Responsibilities:

·         Handle customer issues and enter orders received via fax, phone, email and PurchaseNET.

·         Assist with the completion of bids and contracts in a timely manner.

·         Maintain accurate files for all orders and quotes.

·         Update and maintain customer accounts as needed to ensure an accurate database.

·         Communicate to customers the value added services that Bound Tree Medical provides.


Job Requirements:

·         Ability to work with customers to identify problems and resolve issues.

·         Ability to effectively facilitate orders in conjunction with Purchasing, Collections, and Distribution Centers.

·         Willingness to become knowledgeable with the products Bound Tree Medical distributes.

·         Miscellaneous tasks as assigned.

 Qualified candidates should possess the following:

·         HS Diploma or equivalent.  Associates Degree or higher preferred.

·         1+ years experience in customer service and/or bids & contracts. 

·         Ability to successfully work in a changing environment.

·         Excellent internal and external customer relations skills. Must be able to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with customers and co-workers.

·         Excellent interpersonal skills.  Demonstrated ability to work effectively with people at all levels within the company as well as with vendors and manufacturers.

·         Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 

·         Strong computer skills.  Proficient with MS Office products. Knowledge of Great Plains software a PLUS.

·         Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

·         Strong time-management skills - able to organize and prioritize tasks to meet multiple deadlines.

·         Able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, margins, percentages, commissions, proportions, and mark-up.

·         Should be self-motivated, goal oriented, quality driven and capable or working with minimal supervision.

·         Willingness to adapt to an increasing workload while maintaining constant standards of high quality.
