Key Role:
Review grant applications, audit reports, and financial statements to determine the feasibility and allowability of grantee business plan in line with the Code of Federal Regulations and Cost Principles. Conduct cost analysis and review of Head Start-funded grants. Provide ongoing support and oversight to assigned grants. Provide overall fiscal and budget analysis and monitor funding levels. Research the statutes, legislation, regulations, and directives that govern the financial aspects of a government agency. Provide ongoing administrative fiscal support to the team and client. Participate in ongoing collaborative meetings with federal counterparts, Head Start-related organizations, and grantees. This position is located in San Francisco, CA. Basic Qualifications: -2 years of experience with federal grants management, financial management, or related area -Experience in working with the Head Start program or similar federal grants program, including Runaway and Homeless Youth and Child Welfare -Experience with Federal Regulations and OMB Circulars -Ability to conduct audit and project cost analyses -Ability to review financial statements and budgets -BA or BS degree   Additional Qualifications: -Ability to pay strict attention to detail and qualify assurance -Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills -Grants Management Certificate from Management Concepts   Integrating the full range of consulting capabilities, Booz Allen is the one firm that helps clients solve their toughest problems, working by their side to help them achieve their missions.
