Application Management Services
Deloitte Consulting's Applications Management Services (AMS) practice leverages extensive experience in enterprise application implementations, custom development and system integration projects. Among the major packages, we have implemented hundreds of SAP, Oracle, Lawson and Siebel applications. Building on this strong legacy, our AMS practice includes professionals who are responsible for maintaining client applications and technology infrastructure.
A Manager within Deloitte Consulting Outsourcing (eXtended Business Services) would be involved in the design and implementation of custom, technology enabled business solutions. They would function as an integrator between business needs and technology solutions. Responsibilities include, among others: defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementation. Managers develop creative analyses to diagnose client issues. They actively participate in complex proposal development and sales presentations. Managers are responsible to help close follow-on client opportunities. They contribute to engagements that produce results within budget and timing constraints. Managers select and demonstrate commitment to an industry practice.
- US Citizen
- BS Degree (MBA preferred) and 6+ years of successful Consulting/Client Management experience.
- Prior experience with Outsourcing solutions is preferred specifically for Oracle (particularly Oracle Federal Financials), SAP and PeopleSoft (Financials or HR modules) including work experience leading and managing the delivery of application support and maintenance services.
- Preference will be given to those with prior Federal marketplace experience with strong knowledge of Federal procurement processes.
- Development and implementation experience with packages (i.e. Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, etc.) in an outsourced environment is a requirement.
- Track record of stellar engagement management experience; successfully leading large engagement teams. Managers must to be able to demonstrate that they have led large teams (8-10 people) in the delivery of client services and Senior Managers to demonstrate that they have been responsible for hands-on project management including P&L responsibility.
- Proven/demonstrated ability to lead and develop strong relationships with business leaders and executives.
- Must have team experience in complex proposal development and sales presentations. Managers must have led the development and delivery of key sections of sales presentations and Sr. Managers must have lead and delivered the entire sales opportunity , engaging senior client service staff (Directors and Principals) as appropriate.
- Track record of stellar engagement management experience; successfully leading large engagement teams. Sr. Managers must meet the first year sales and managed revenue expectations for Deloitte Consulting senior managers.
- Must have team experience in complex proposal development and sales presentations. Senior Managers should have experience leading the development of complex proposals including the development of the technical solution, organization and staffing, engagement pricing and contribution to contracting.
- Must be willing to travel
- Designations (PMP and ITIL Foundation level certification) are strongly preferred
