Position Summary and Primary Responsibility: A Family Service Counselor is primarily responsible for serving the immediate need family and pre-need of families who come to the office or call to arrange for services. Additionally, the Family Service Counselor is required to make follow-up home calls in a pro active manner to provide assistance to families, secure additional sales and generate referrals.
Family Service Counselors represent the Roman Catholic Church. They are expected to conduct themselves according to the goals and mission of the Church in performing their work. They must have a thorough understanding of Catholic doctrine as it relates to Christian Funeral Rites.
We are seeking licensed Life Insurance Agents to assist families in pre-planning and pre-funding their funerals with insurance. Ideal candidates will possess a Life Insurance license. You must be willing and able to obtain such a license if you don't currently have one.
Minimum Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent. Two years experience in sales or related fields resulting in direct contact with the public. Able to complete training program. Posses good oral, written and interpersonal skills. Provide transportation to conduct family service follow up and pre-need sales. This position requires a current, valid CA drivers license, auto insurance and a valid CA Life Agent License. Must be proficient in Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook.
