We are currently looking for a Facilities Specialist to join our team. Position Summary Provides restaurant level support for completing all outlined preventive maintenance tasks while executing minor equipment repairs or replacements as needed within a specific market or region. Main Accountabilities In addition to following Chipotle’s policies and procedures, main accountabilities are as follows: • Performs all outlined preventive maintenance tasks • Performs minor equipment and building repairs • Assists with keeping facility records updated at restaurant level • Assists and educates area managers and restaurant managers with minor facility troubleshooting • Provides field support and communication to National Facilities/ Design & Development as it relates to corporate initiatives and Regional/ Market needs as required • Assists with communicating contractor deficiencies of re-investment projects • Motivates and educates restaurant management with maintaining their facilities • Assists and interacts with landlord related facility issues which require on-site involvement • Assists and interacts with area managers with facility related invoice conflicts or disputes from outside vendors • Manages own parts inventory and responsible for loss or theft • Maintains tools • Follows all guidelines as set forth by Chipotle Design & Development / Facilities Dept • Depending on the needs of the business and/or department may complete other duties as assigned to advance a particular project or resolve a business issue IT Factors Zeal • Has passion, energy, persistence, positive attitude and enthusiasm. Qualifications Education/Training • Degree in Construction/Facility Trade or equivalent. • 3-5 yrs of facility repair and maintenance experience • Will consider year for year experience in lieu of degree. Knowledge/Skills • Strong trade knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, & basic HVAC/ refrigeration. • Working knowledge of rules and regulations governing facilities safety requirements. • Working knowledge of fixtures, furnishings, and equipment. • Working knowledge of service maintenance costs and procedures for various building systems. Work Experience • 3-5 years in various types of trades involving restaurant facility repair & maintenance. Construction Additional Information:Travel Percentage: 70%
