Facilities Co-op, Fall 2008Company DescriptionEthicon Endo- Surgery, Inc., a member of Johnson && Johnson's Family of Companies, is currently recruiting for a Sales Development Summer Intern for 2007 located in Cincinnati, OH. Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Inc.- develops and markets advanced medical devices for minimally invasive and open surgical procedures. The company focuses on procedure- enabling devices for the interventional diagnosis and treatment of conditions in general and bariatric surgery, as well as gastro- intestinal health, gynecology and surgical oncology. Duties && Responsibilities:As a co-op in the Facilities Department at Ethicon Endo-Surgery, you will have the opportunity to work with Contractors, Finance and Internal Facilities Team members for a campus comprised of several buildings and over 1,200 employees. Co-op&'s are afforded the opportunity to lead facility projects and work closely with the Engineering Group, Senior Management and cross-functional project teams, and will be responsible for ensuring the physical facility support the company&'s mission of &Transforming Patient Care Through Innovation.& There is a true appreciation for seeing how important the facilities organization impacts many facets of corporate life. Responsibilities increase with each co-op rotation. Rotations are: 3 &- 4 months for summer
interns and 6 months for

Sample assignment activities and responsibilities may include:Provide support and supervised leadership on Facilities related projects and renovations when available including the following, but not limited to: Scope Determination Customer Programming &- Voice of the Customer Budget determination and estimation Contractor negotiations Vendor selection Execution or Implementation Project completion or closingProvide support and leadership on Facilities Management customer satisfaction surveys including development of action plans for implementing improvement opportunities Actively participate in departmental meetings and departmental/company sponsored events Self-perform all required company and departmental training related to policies and procedures Actively participate in the planning and execution of team building events for the Facilities Management group Provide leadership in updating and tracking departmental scorecard
Qualifications:Pursuing a BS in an Engineering or related technical field (Industrial, Mechanical) GPA of 3.0 or higher US Citizen or Permanent Resident Sophomore level and above
