Position: Experienced Tax Manager (Key member of the Subchapter C Corporate Group)

Location: Orange County, California – Headquarters in Irvine, CA

Description of Duties:

KS&CO is looking to admit an additional Experienced Tax Manager into our Large Corporate Tax Services Department. Due to our unique position in the West Coast marketplace along with the premium compensation package that we offer we are in the fortunate position of being selective about our new team member. We are interested in selecting an individual who shares our vision of excellence and an objective of continued upward mobility. This individual will be placed in a position of significant responsibility with our high profile clients and will be provided with an environment that will support success. The applicant for this position should have Big 4 and/or public company corporate tax and FASB 109 experience. Other qualifications include:

Highly proficient in Excel

Strong tax research & consulting experience

Willingness to travel (Orange, San Diego Counties primarily)

Multi-national, Multi-state experience is a plus

Experience in oversight / development of subordinate mangers, seniors, and staff

Experience in the development and maintenance of strong client relationships

The firm’s subchapter C group focuses on small and mid-sized public companies and assists their tax department, or acts as their tax department. This group’s primary focus is FAS 109, FIN 48, and corporate income tax preparation. The Firm does not do PCAOB audits in order to avoid perceived conflicts from our primary referral sources, the Big Four firms.
