Group Product Insurance Sales - Experienced Insurance Rep.

 

Our Client:

Our client's businesses provide a unique variety of products and services that assure opportunity, security and peace of mind for their customers. They are a leading company in the insurance industry.  

 

Responsibilities:

·   Sell group life, dental, and disability products to companies in the Oklahoma territory.

·   Attain annually established sales quotas.

·   Identify major producers and groups for business prospects.

·   Maintain contact with employee benefit specialists, brokers and consultants to develop and establish a rapport conducive to our client being considered for bidding on a group insurance contract.

·   Inform sales/service support staff of prospective clients and overseeing completion of contract proposals.

·   Obtain all proposal information, negotiating for optimal contract provisions and presenting group insurance plan.

·   Stay abreast of industry and government changes affecting group insurance and maintaining an awareness of existing and developing market trends.

·   There will be a fair amount of travel in the beginning. 

·   Sales goals for the territory will be around 1.5 MM.

 

Qualification:

·   Demonstrated sales ability evidenced by previous attainment of sales quotas and successful account management experience demonstrated by persistency and proven Broker relationships.

·   Knowledge, experience and understanding of Group products.

·   Thorough understanding of group insurance products, marketing techniques, and procedures for underwriting, rating, policy and contract issuance, and claims.

·   Ability to travel and a valid driver's license.

·   Ability to successfully complete a background investigation to include, credit, motor vehicle record and appropriate insurance license checks.

Location:  Oklahoma City, Ok - Work from home.

Position will report to the Dallas, TX office.
