Ocotillo Golf Resort in Chandler, Arizona is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Executive Sous Chef. Qualified candidates will be comfortable in a golf environment and be highly focused on providing superior customer service for our guests.
Key Responsibilities include overseeing all food production operations and ensuring high quality product; maintaining quality sanitation program in all areas; maintaining, evaluating and developing food concepts, ensuring highest quality; implementing and maintaining control procedures, including daily food production charts, standardized recipes, food costing sheets, etc.; writing, maintaining and updating menu specifications; routinely checking all kitchen equipment; maintaining proper staff levels; and training new associates.
Qualifications: Extensive banquet experience, associate’s degree or equivalent from 2-year college; at least 6 months related experience and/or training; ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 100 pounds; ability to work in humid and/or extreme heat or cold (not weather-related); good working knowledge of sanitation standards and of proper preparation and presentation of food and beverage items.
