Job Description

 

This is an independent contractor’s position where you will be involved with every aspect of assisting our clients with the sale of their small business and/or assisting buyers with the purchase of small businesses.  In addition to business brokerage, you will have an opportunity to represent other Murphy products such as:

     -  Business Valuations

     -  Equipment Appraisals

     -  Commercial Real Estate

     -  Mergers & Acquisitions

     -  Franchise Sales

 

As a Murphy Business Broker you will:

     -  Obtain business sales listings using various methods of advertising and networking

     -  Assist buyers in finding the right small business for their budget and experience

     -  Assist in negotiating a fair business transaction that benefits the seller and the buyer

     -  Present other Murphy products for sale when appropriate

 

Training

 

Murphy Business & Financial Corporation has developed and implemented over the past 12 years a very successful business brokerage model.  Our mission is to provide each and every one of our clients with exceptional service and outstanding value that exceeds their expectations while keeping the highest standards of honesty and integrity.  As a Murphy Business salesperson you will be required to attend one week of intensive, professionally developed training that covers all aspects of business brokerage.  The training is given in Tampa Bay, Florida.  Most of the cost of the training will be your responsibility.   

 

Compensation

 

This opportunity is a commission only independent contractor position.  Your compensation will be determined by your ability to recruit sellers and buyers and your previous professional background skills.  Many Murphy business salespersons earn at least $100,000 in their second year with the company.

 

Licenses & Permits

The State of Nevada requires anyone who sells business opportunities or commercial real estate in the State to obtain any one of these three licenses:

     -  Salesperson Real Estate License

     -  Broker-Salesperson Real Estate License

     -  Real Estate Broker License

In addition, any licensed real estate Salesperson, Broker-Salesperson or Broker must also obtain a Business Broker Permit from the State of Nevada.  Additional information about licensing will be provided by us to those qualified individuals who respond to this ad.
