The Calvin Coolidge Memorial Foundation in Plymouth Notch, Vermont is seeking applications for the position of Executive Director. The Foundation is an educational non-profit organization dedicated to interpreting the life, career and legacy of President Calvin Coolidge. The candidate should have experience in supervising a small staff of paid employees and volunteers. Since the Foundation is funded by individuals and grants, the candidate should have significant fund-raising experience. Applicants should have a bachelors degree and a strong interest in history. Teaching or educational experience will be helpful but is not required. The Foundation is located in Plymouth Notch and is currently in a capital campaign to build a new museum and education center in partnership with the Vermont Division for Historic Preservation which owns and operates the President Calvin Coolidge State Historic Site. The Executive Director will be expected to work with the Foundation's Development Director and its Board of Trustees to run all Foundation initiatives including the completion of the capital campaign to build the Coolidge Museum and Education Center. The Executive Director will provide creative leadership to share the Coolidge legacy with an expanded audience.
