Community Health Charities of Arizona is seeking candidates for Executive Director.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the continued development and expansion of the local affiliate of Community Health Charities, a National non-profit federation which conducts workplace giving campaigns on behalf of national and local member agencies that support health care and medical research. Additionally, the Executive Director has direct responsibility for recruiting new businesses to actively participate in annual fund-raising efforts and managing the financial and daily administrative aspects of the Arizona affiliate. These duties include managing the budget, working with auditors, ensuring member agencies are compliant and active, networking with other nonprofit agencies, and conducting quarterly meetings with the Arizona affiliate Board of Directors.
Required Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have proven ability to establish and grow a network of local decision makers, influence across all levels of corporate executives, and collaborate effectively. Candidate must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, planning and relationship skills. Position requires a strategic thinker who can manage multiple projects/priorities simultaneously, especially during the heavy workplace giving season during the fall. Must possess and demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills. Must have proven ability to operate independently and possess solid computer skills. Previous experience in public sector operations and experience in direct sales and/or fund-raising are preferred.
