Angelo’s Restaurant

 

We are an upper casual Italian Restaurant in Washington Pa. that has been in operation since 1939.  We have been owned and operated by three generations of the Passalacqua family.

We serve traditional and innovative regional Italian fare in a warm and casual atmosphere.

 

We have outgrown our 69 year old home of 3200 square feet with a very small kitchen and inadequate parking.  We are moving to 2109 North Franklin Drive in the Washington Square Development above Crown Center Mall.  Our new 5600 square foot facility will be 500 yards from

Consol Energy Field, the home of the Washington Wild Things.  The development boasts two medical centers, with a 65000 square foot outpatient surgery center coming soon.  Pony League world headquarters and museum, W and J athletic fields and two hotels are also on site.

 

The new location features a beautiful building with old world adornments,

a 2200 square foot kitchen with separate open line and prep/catering areas. 

The restaurant will feature a 110 seat main dining room in a room with a barrel vaulted ceiling

and three auxillary/private dining rooms that can accommodate 75 more guests. 

 An outdoor patio can serve 30, and the spacious and open lounge can seat 40 more.

 

Our concept is simple.  We will stay true to who we are while adding some twists like a brick oven, a gelato counter and a catering company.  Our goal is to be doing 4 million in sales within 5 years.

We need a GENERAL MANAGER, AN ASSISTANT MANAGER, AND A KITCHEN MANAGER on board in June to accomplish an opening by August of 08.

 

The GENERAL MANAGER  will be a candidate with very strong

Leadership skills, results orientation, organizational skills and management style.  He or she will have full responsibility for hiring, training, scheduling, supervising, cost control, and reporting.

 

The ASSISTANT MANAGER will assist in these duties and have responsibility and assist the owner in ongoing direct marketing efforts with responsibilities for events planning.

 

THE KITCHEN MANAGER will be a successful chef and manager with responsibility for hiring, training supervising, adhering to strict prep, production schedules and all financial controls of the back of the house.  This candidate will also expedite and assist when necessary. 

Salary packages negotiable upon experience and market standards.
