Position Description:

The role of the Event Specialist will be to support the Events Marketing team.  This role will not only support many of the events details, but will also shadow and train to move into other Event Marketing roles as a career path.

 

Other responsibilities of the Events Specialist include: providing support to Event Manager by tracking the details around all corporate events including costs, managing invoices/purchase requisitions, tracking award winners, managing/tracking event attendees and any other Event Management support as needed.

 

You will also assist, shadow, and provide backup support to Tradeshow Managers in managing the many tradeshows and Road Shows for Reynolds. Finally, you will provide on-site support as necessary at Event Functions. 

 

 

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, PR, or Events ManagementExperience in event planning, especially in the area of tradeshows preferredIndependent self-starter with superior communication and people skillsSuperior attention to details and to deadlinesExperience with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Project
