We are currently looking for an Equity & Executive Compensation Analyst to join our Compensation and Benefits team at our worldwide headquarters in Islandia, NY.

This position is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, administering and assessing CA's equity and executive compensation programs. Key Responsibilities include:

Equity Programs:

* Lead global equity program design
* Work with Legal and Equity Administration groups to ensure documents and templates are accurate
* Maintain accurate documentation regarding required approval of equity awards as determined by the Compensation Committee; obtain approvals and ensure agreements and documents are issued to employees
* Participate in complex equity valuation projects often times requiring coordination with the Equity Administration group and/or outside vendors
* Develop employee equity communications
* Maintain an up-to-date basic knowledge of government regulations throughout the world and ensure compliance with regulations as they apply to equity compensation matters
* Provide equity-related data to Finance and Tax groups

Executive Compensation Programs:

* Ensure market competitiveness of the executive compensation program
* Work closely with Finance and Legal counsel in the design and development of executive compensation programs including base salary, short term cash incentives, long term equity incentives as well as other executive compensation programs
* Assist in gathering data for the proxy compensation tables and function as a member of the annual proxy data team
* Gather, analyze and annotate executive officer compensation data extracted from material and proxy filings of major corporations made to the Securities and Exchange Commission
* Work with Finance, Legal and third-party consultants in support the drafting of the executive pay disclosures such as the Compensation Discussion & Analysis (CD&A) and ensure compliance of data included in CD&A
* Prepare data and develop presentations for the HR & Compensation Committee and assist in the preparation of Board meeting material
* Research and present new directions associated with executive compensation programs
* Support expensing, accruals and compliance activities with Finance, Legal, Commissions, Internal Audit and Equity Administration
* As requested, provide recommendations on compensation packages for newly hired and existing executives
* Meet with executive new hires as requested to ensure they have an understanding of their compensation plan

General:

* Serve as internal consultant/compensation subject matter expert to client areas
* Advise HR partners, senior leadership, and all levels of management in the use of compensation to address complex business issues
* Deliver compensation presentations to HR and client groups on request
* Provide consulting services to HR business partners utilizing a proactive approach
* Respond to difficult and controversial managerial and employee inquiries and provide appropriate counsel
* Lead efforts in developing, implementing and administering compensation policies, procedures and approaches to help ensure consistent and efficient application of compensation philosophy
* Lead projects and benchmarking initiatives to ensure that CA remains competitive in the marketplace relative to compensation programs and costs
* Develop complex data queries using SAP and other applications to support compensation needs and decisions
* Support compensation issues (base, variable and equity) associated with mergers and acquisitions. May assist on due diligence activities
* Ensure compliance with internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) procedures
* Mentor other compensation team members on compensation principles and approaches
* May provide project supervision to compensation team members

Key Requirements:

* 7 years of broad and increasingly responsible compensation experience with prior experience in executive compensation and equity
* Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Strong query experience using data reporting tools (HRIS and Excel)
* Excellent analytical, project management, time management and communication skills
* Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information
* Ability to lead projects and staff
* Teamwork, creative problem solving, attention to detail and quantitative skills
* Strategically partner across areas, entities, and functions
* Work to achieve win-win solutions to achieve outcomes
* Actively seeks and accepts challenging opportunities that will help meet identified developmental needs
* Business travel of approximately 10% or less yearly is expected for this position
* Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in a related field
* Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation is preferred
