Learn more about ADC at www.adc.com.   JOB DESCRIPTION:   We are currently looking for a Central Office Equipment Installer, Level III to join our Professional Services team.  The position will be based out of Omaha, Nebraska.
Equipment Installers are responsible for the installation of equipment used in voice, video, fiber optics and data telecommunications networks. The successful candidate will analyze, plan, layout and assign installation activity to other installation personnel. Level III Installers act as subject matter experts on provisioning, activating and testing ADC and OEM electronic equipment.

The work will involve the installation of cable, wiring, and telecommunications equipment in Central Office facilities. Installers must be familiar with iron work/bays/equipment rack installation, DC power know-how, wire wrapping/color code understanding, blueprint/schematic reading and method of procedures. REQUIREMENTS: High School or GED certificate required, technical degree preferred. 5+ years central office equipment installation experience. Experience working with AT&T preferred. Demonstrated manual dexterity, lift and carry loads up to 40 lbs; ability to work on ladders up to 15ft. Reliable transportation and tools a must. The qualified candidate must work well within a team demonstrating leadership abilities, have satisfactory written/reading communication skills as well as good customer service skills and be adaptable to changing environments.
