We have a new opening for a regular full-time Epidemiologist/Biostatistician in our Providence, RI office. This position will be responsible for statistical programming, primarily using SAS software, for the analysis of Medicare/Medicaid, MDS, CASETOOL, and OASIS data in support of various healthcare quality improvement initiatives.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in biostatistics, medical informatics or a related field, or equivalent work experience, with three to five years experience data management and statistical programming. Candidates with less work experience may be considered for a junior level position.

Candidates must have moderate to advanced SAS programming skills, advanced MS Office proficiency, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively translate technical and theoretical concepts or information to non-technical staff. Candidates must be detail oriented, persistent in follow up/through, skilled at multi-tasking, able to work independently, and exercise sound judgment. Energy, enthusiasm and creativity are highly desired traits.
