Ideal and successful environmental professionals are required to have a bachelors or masters degree in either environmental engineering, civil/environmental engineering, environmental science, geology, hydrogeology, environmental planning and preferable have their engineer-in-training (EIT), professional engineer (PE), or professional geologist (PG/RG) certification (dependent on position applied for). Candidates with 1-20+ years of environmental experience with regards to remediation, landfill & solid waste, engineering geology, environmental compliance, environmental sciences, or environmental planning will receive equal consideration.
