TriMatrix Laboratories, Inc., one of the premier environmental testing laboratories in the nation, has an immediate opening for an experienced Semi-Volatile GC Chemist. The ideal candidate will have between 5-10 years of hands-on experience in an environmental testing laboratory performing analysis for semi-volatile organics using gas chromatography techniques. A strong background using ECD detectors is required, with in-depth knowledge of EPA methods 8081A, 8082, 8121A and 8151A and instrument maintenance and troubleshooting skills necessary. The successful candidate must also have experience using Hewlett Packard/Agilent GC/ECD instruments, including 5973 Micro-ECDs. Experience with FID detectors and HPLC instrumentation is a plus. Ideal candidate will also have extensive experience and familiarity with CLP-like reporting and DoD QSM/AFCEE requirements.
