CH2M HILL's Charlotte, NC office is growing and we are currently looking for an Environmental Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our Environmental Services Group. The Engineer will work under the direction of a manager and will be responsible for field oversight, of environmental sampling and remedial actions, and report writing. Typical field activities include: sampling various media (soil, groundwater, surface water, sediments, and air), completing field paperwork and documenting site activities, and directing subcontractors. You will be a task lead and/or assist in compliance, assessments, monitoring and reporting documents submitted to regulatory authorities, including stakeholders and landowners. Typical office tasks include: data entry and evaluation, report writing, evaluations and design of remedial systems, and evaluations of system performance and effectiveness. Additional responsibilities include, assisting with business development opportunities to bring potential clients to CH2M HILL and assist in proposal efforts. Relocation assistance is evaluated on a case by case basis.

Qualifications Qualified candidates will have:
- BS degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering or related science.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in environmental consulting.
- General project management/project delivery experience for site management/site remediation, compliance or waste projects.
- Knowledge and experience with various media (soil, groundwater, surface water) investigations, assessments and remediation technologies.
