We are currently seeking chemists-entry level and experienced. The opportunity is in our Belpre, Ohio laboratory.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
A qualified candidate will be analytical and able to work well in a team environment. He/she will handle multiple and varied projects at the same time, be deadline and detail-oriented, and be an excellent communicator. Specific duties include:

1.        Responsibility for the Quality Control testing of all products.

2.       Review the adequacy of internal testing.

3.       Approve product for shipment.

4.       Provide customer technical support.

5.       Preparation and analysis of test samples.

6.       Perform instrument maintenance and operational functions.

7.       Perform data analysis and data entry.

8.       Generation and tracking of Quality Records related to product testing.

9.       Production of calibration and quality control standards.

10.    Production of monthly products and custom and blind samples as needed.

 

The successful candidate needs to be able to work on a scheduled basis with little supervision after successful completion of training.  Candidate must be familiar with ISO manufacturing and testing guidelines.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:
BA or BS in Chemistry required.

·         Ability to work in a team environment.

·         Excellent communication skills – verbal and presentation of testing results

·         Technical expertise in analytical chemistry

·         Computer skills – Word and Excel

         Experience with GC or GC/MS would be preferred
