Responsibilities:

·         Perform protein filtrations and quantification.

·         Endotoxin quantification (LAL assay).

·         Measure of physical properties of filtration media.

·         Perform a variety of procedures associated with the fields of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry.

·         Understand, operate and calibrate laboratory equipment. 

·         Analyze data and write laboratory reports. 

·         Adhere to laboratory safety and policies. 

·         Responsible for lab cleanliness, and ordering and receiving material and reagents.  Interact with project managers and lab managers discuss projects. 

·         Provide technical support to project managers. 

·         Suggest ideas/actions to improve laboratory equipment, output, or atmosphere.  Participate in lab team projects. 

Requirements:

BS in Biology or Biochemistry

1 year experience in a laboratory setting

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Excel software required

Knowledge and experience of statistics is a plus.

Mechanical ability a plus
