TeamSoft is currently looking for a Enterprise Windows  Server Engineer for a great opportunity with one of our most prestigious clients in Madison, WI. 

This position will be responsible for the analysis and technical plan to support the configuration of a virtual sever environment and the migration of applications running on NT to a virtual machine on Win2003 hosts.

This position will be responsible for ensuring that the proper processes are adhered to throughout the deployment.

Responsibilities will require the candidate to work closely with the applications' administrators and the PMO to coordinate and implement the ongoing systems changes that make up the migration. 

This person will be the primary technical contact for the design of the virtual machine hosts as they fit into the existing virtual server farm, as well as the resolution of technical migration issues as they occur. 

Required Experience:
** Minimum of 5 years experience administering Windows Servers running client server applications.

** Scripting knowledge - Pearl

** Very Strong Documentation & Organizational Skills

** Demonstrate knowledge in the migration, validation and implementation of applications moving from NT to 2003 architecture

** VMWare Analysis and Deployment Experience running as application servers

** Terminal Services - Microsoft Terminal Services and Citrix Meta frame Server (4.x, XP, v1.8)

** Experience implementing/managing VMware ESX 3 Server and Virtual Center shared environments

** Experience with Storage Technologies ** preferably IBM ** SAN, NAS, iSCSI,

** Strong understanding of networking technologies/concepts

** VLANS, switches, load balancing, reverse proxy, firewalls, etc.

** Strong Microsoft software administration/mgmt expertise (e.g. Windows 2000/2003 Server,  IIS, Active Directory, SQL Server, ASP, COM, COM+, .Net)

** Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience as a plus:

** Enterprise Administrator (CCEA), or Integration Architect (CCIA).

** Build, configure, and support DELL Blade and server hardware, Citrix software, and Microsoft Windows 2003 server OS;

** Manage and install images created via RDP for server configurations.

** Manage, troubleshoot and support Citrix environment;

** Novell experience
