SUMMARY OVERVIEW

Responsible for the design, development and implementation of Sales and Distribution SAP business system. Willingness to learn new emerging technology such as enterprise services, architecture, web services/portals, analytics, etc.

SPECIFIC SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILTIEIS:
Five plus years experience with SAP configuration.
Strong understanding of business processes, practices and solutions as related to Sales and Distribution within SAP's suite of offerings.




ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


ESSENTIAL SKILLS
•Working knowledge of project management practices and methodology's
•Ability to perform hands on configuration in Sales and Distribution including integration points to Planning, Inventory, Logistics and Finance.
•Ability to write highly detailed functional specifications for outputs and new custom functionality.
•Participate in the exchange of ideas and information within the department.
•Organize verbal and written ideas clearly and use an appropriate business style.
•Work closely with other team members to develop new and innovative business applications from SAP's suit of solutions.
•Provide regular updates to appropriate managers.
•Identify creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems (i.e. modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks, elimination of non-value added processes, or complete re-engineering of processes and systems).
•Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management.
•Assure that procedures and work instructions are efficient and not redundant.
•Offer new ideas and suggestions for improvement. Identify and implement new practices and processes that are “best in field”.
•Demonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively; making customer issues a priority.
•Confer with reporting manager on complex or unusual situations.
•Establish new measurement systems if/where possible.
•Exchange knowledge and information with other Jabil facilities to ensure best practices are shared throughout the Jabil organization.
•Ensure 100% adherence to all company policies and procedures (i.e. Health, Safety and Quality)
•Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all areas pertaining to data and proprietary information, whether internal to Jabil or customer specific.
•Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
•Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all areas pertaining to the IT systems.
•Understand and embrace the business and IT strategic direction.
•Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
•Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.




JOB REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Management Information Systems OR 5 – 6 years of equivalent external work experience in the business area, from an IT and business perspective. Formal certification in Primary Module is required. Must have advanced configuration knowledge in a minimum of two modules. Must have Project Management experience in application area on a large scale (more than 6 months) project.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Customer service skills as well as effective communication skills – both verbal and written. Ability to follow written and verbal directions. Must possess analytical and project management skills. Ability to write valid functional specification documents. Ability to provide flow diagrams, entity relationships, mapping and table definitions for advanced design concepts. Proven implementation track record on multiple complex installations. Solid understanding of systems and business analysis – ability to create valid detailed functional design specifications. Ability to mentor other team members. Advanced understanding of business processes through hands on business experience or through an operations role. Must have good training skills, active listening skills and basic trouble shooting skills. Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Individual will be required to use computer keyboards or other equipment for extended periods of time.
Individual may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision for reading and studying technical materials and use of computer monitor screens a great deal of the time. Specific physical abilities required by the job may include walking, reaching carrying and lifting up to 25 lbs, with some occasional lifting up to 50lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Individual’s primary workstation is located in the office area, with some time spent on the manufacturing floor. The noise level in the work environment ranges from low to moderate.
