The Enterprise Security Product Marketing Manager is responsible for driving the successful execution of global marketing activities for our Enterprise Security offering, including launches, campaigns and promotions.  He/she will create content, tools, and programs to enable our regions to meet or exceed their Enterprise revenue goals by ensuring the timely delivery of content and source materials.

 Job Description:

Objectives: 

To develop and implement the global marketing strategy, marketing programs, and business plans for our Enterprise Security offering to achieve the following objectives:

•           Increase Trend Micro brand awareness and perception of Trend Micro as an Enterprise Security leader/antispam expert with enterprise customers, channels, analysts and press

•           Increase penetration of Trend Micro Enterprise products within customers’ environments, grow share of their security spending, increase renewal rates

 Key Responsibilities:

1.       Manage outbound marketing globally for Enterprise Security offering – define, position, package, launch, and evangelize Enterprise Security offering

2.       Lead cross-functional teams in the creation of compelling non-technical content and training materials to support products and campaigns, including:

•         Collateral such as datasheets, FAQs, hotsheets

•         Presentations for customers, channels, press and analysts

•         Website content, flash demo scripts

•         Pricing/ROI tools

•         Special programs, campaigns, and pricing or packaging promotions to entice and influence customer and channel preference towards Trend Micro and drive new lead generation in the field

3.       Communicate with and coordinate regional product marketing managers for go-to-market activities in each region

4.       Support the sales force directly with customer visits, calls, account strategy and more as needed

5.       Serve as the subject matter expert on competitive offerings, generating materials such as head-to-head comparisons, targeted presentations and other tools with support from core technology group, product managers and the technical sales support group.

6.       Investigate, document and share Enterprise sales and marketing best practices globally from all TM regions/BUs and other industries

7.       Develop and deliver field training on Enterprise Security as needed

9.       Represent Trend Micro at industry and customer/channel events

 Desired Education, Experiences & Skills:

 The ideal candidate will demonstrate strengths in:

 Solid understanding of a broad set of enterprise security issues and technologies, security services, and management console products

Product marketing experience in the security field

Understanding of spam, botnets, Web threats, outbreaks, how they occur, and IT outbreak management/response issues

Ability to think strategically, holistically, and from a customer viewpoint across all Trend Micro Enterprise products and services

Ability to manage and market a ‘strategy’, a product, services, and solutions simultaneously

Understanding of viruses, worms, trojans, bots, spam, spyware, phishing, other malware

Must have excellent writing and presentation skills, and must be comfortable working with field directly in sales situations

Must be very self-motivated and demonstrate an “evangelical” attitude and enthusiasm for products managed
                   

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years experience managing products in a software/security/hi-tech environment.

Proven track record in implementation of successful global marketing programs.

Strong project management skills, ability to communicate and work effectively with a large cross-functional, international team.

International marketing experience required. Foreign language skills highly desired.

Willingness to travel internationally.

Strong dedication to teamwork and to the growth and success of Trend Micro

B.A. required, MBA a plus.
