Enterprise Network Planning & Support acts as the highest level corporate resources for LAN / WAN Environment, including: architecture, design, strategic planning, consultation, project management, implementation, support, standards, and enterprise management. Positions may require high level technical expertise in several areas including: LAN / WAN topology, LAN / WAN infrastructure design/analysis,  Wireless LAN design and deployment, Server infrastructure, multi-vendor network operating systems, advanced troubleshooting skills, enterprise project management skills. Ability to configure, support, and manage LAN switches/routers, 802.11 Wireless LAN components ,  servers, gateways, backup solutions, network operating systems, network directory services, UNIX Shell and PERL scripting, routers, modems, mux equipment, telecommunications interfaces, and associated enterprise management systems. BS degree in a related network area or equivalent experience. 6 - 8 years experience with high level support, design, and implementation of enterprise network systems. Industry Professional Certifications or knowledge and demonstrated ability with an emphasis on wireless LAN systems.
