The IT Strategy Consulting Division provides assistance to senior government leaders in managing their complex enterprise IT investments. We help agencies communicate the CIO’s strategic goals and objectives to employees and ensure that new initiatives comply with federal policies and directives. This division consists of practices in IT Strategy & Governance, Enterprise Architecture and IT Optimization.

 

The Enterprise Architect for the Enterprise Architecture Practice will have 10 years experience in the industry, building level enterprise-wide architecture focusing on the mapping of IT capabilities to business needs. He or she will influence and advise the current Enterprise Architecture team and program managers to craft and deliver business value justification for EA, solution architecture integration, business process change, IT/Business governance and organizational change management. This individual will have a high level of influence with senior members of the customer’s management. Will apply thought leadership and influence in improving the practices of the enterprise architecture team at PPC.
Ideal candidates should possess the following: • A technical or business undergraduate degree or a MS or MBA degree
• Solid understanding of enterprise architecture and data architecture
• Experience with Metis or Troux modeling is helpful
• Experience in a combination of IT consulting/systems integration, IT management/senior staff roles and high tech industry roles
• Knowledge of technical architecture: deep expertise in two or more technology domains (network/infrastructure, data, applications/middleware) but fluency in all technology domains
• Expertise in technology trends and the relevance to business
• Expertise in business architecture areas including business process design and governance
• Skills in directing large/complex federated teams comprised of direct reports, matrixed reports and 3rd parties
• Experience with large program implementation including risk management, project portfolio management and the planning, reporting and directing the work of others across multitude implementation projects concurrently
