The Rhode Island Quality Institute is a collaboration of the top leadership of health care stakeholders working together to improve RI's health care system. The RIQI is working to build statewide health care information exchange (HIE) as the foundation for continual improvement in the quality of care. The Enrollment Specialist is a critical position in assuring that individuals can enroll to have their health care information available from participating data sources (currently some laboratories and most retail pharmacy) through the HIE to the providers they choose. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Job Summary
This position will actively enroll patients into the Health Information Exchange.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
Desired Qualifications
Four years of related experience, including prior experience working with health care professionals and patients in clinical and non-clinical settings. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills Ability to perform as a team playerFour years of related experience, including prior experience working with health care professionals and patients in clinical and non-clinical settings.
Licenses and/or Specialized Knowledge

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Potential for short-term supervisory responsibility of student interns.
Work Environment
This position will work in normal business office conditions, including some office space or non-clinical space in health care provider offices.
Physical Demands
The tasks of this position are typical for working in an office environment. An associate is regularly required to perform tasks while sitting at a desk, using normal hand dexterity. Mobility is required, including standing, moving about, and sitting. Occasional travel out of the office for meetings, etc. may be required. Good vision is required, including both close and distant objects. Must be able to maintain a good attendance record.
