While reporting to the Director of Engine Programs, the Engines Material Planner / Buyer will also managing inventory balances and future deliveries to accommodate Company budgets.

About the Position:
In this dynamic and diverse position, you will be responsible for…
· Processing, analyzing, and updating system generated stock purchase requisitions.
· Analyzing and adjusting, as required, Min/Max levels for stock part numbers.
· Processing stock transfer requests, to reallocate stock inventory between sites.
· Running the automated Min/Max system. Analyzing and update all of the system generated part number Min/Max’s levels.
· Creating stock inventory purchase orders with suppliers, to maintain adequate stock service levels at the sites.
· Conducting follow-up with suppliers to resolve any delivery, quality, or cost problems.
· Communicating product delivery issues quickly and across all levels of the organization.
· Resolving Accounts Payable problems relating to NOE’s and problem e-mails daily.
· Contacting suppliers for return material authorizations (RMA) and create material Return to Vendors (RTV) as required.
· Resolving on a daily basis all open Inspection Rejection Reports.
· Working on process improvement and inventory projects, to improve efficiency and optimizing inventory levels.
· Planning and managing stock purchase orders and inventory levels to within mandated budgets.
· Continually striving to lower material costs, improving supplier quality, and reducing the supplier base by working deflation and supplier rationalization projects.
· Establishing service level process goals and metrics to assure minimum disruption and maximum service levels to Shop Operations.
· Participating in activities to enhance business systems and future migrations of data as required.
· Assuring material needs are in line with Business and Technical objectives (IE: Special Programs, Service Bulletins, New Model Introductions, etc.)
To be immediately and seriously considered for this outstanding opportunity, you must have the following…
· B.S. / B.A. or equivalent work experience.
· Prior Material Control, Purchasing, Material Planning, or Parts Distribution experience.
· Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Strong computer skills; proficient using Excel, PowerPoint and RPA Material menus, inquiries, and reports.
· Must be willing to work in a team environment.
· Ability to take initiative and be resourceful.
