Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for an Engineering Technician on a contract opportunity with a leading high tech manufacturer in Fort Collins, CO.

Are you looking for an opportunity to apply your advanced electronic and mechanical skills in an Engineering department developing sophisticated electronic equipment? 

You would perform engineering technician work in basic and applied research, development, and/or design of new products. This position also performs calibration checks on electronic instruments and troubleshoots electronic systems to determine cause and remedy for failures. The successful candidate will solve mechanical or electronics problems involved in the operation of the products.

Ability to assist engineers with fabricating and assembling electronic sub-assemblies for prototype model from schematic rough sketches and verbal instructions is required.  This may also include setting up all types of tests as well as write reports summarizing results of experiments.

Skills:
Strong analog and digital skills and ability to analytically interpret electronic circuit performance to debug and repair products. Must be able to do component level troubleshooting, read schematics and blue prints, and have basic PC knowledge with Excel, and Word.

Experience:
Minimum of four years’ experience in technical engineering.

Education:
Associate of Applied Science degree or equivalent education and/or experience.
