Job Description:
This is a summer only Intern employment opportunity, requiring a minimum of 10 weeks availability. Intern is required to work a standard 40-hour week. Candidate should be entering the junior or senior curriculum level. Candidate will perform engineering related tasks in the areas of architecture and modeling, information technology systems analysis and research, write sections of documents under supervision and perform general support tasks as part of the SoS Engineering organization. This internship is located in Colorado Springs, CO.
Education:
Enrolled in a degree program in one of the following disciplines: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and/or Civil Engineering.
Required Skills:
Fundamental engineering computer and math skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, MS Word, MS Excel. Working knowledge of information technology systems and servers to include basic operating system, networking and other supporting technologies. Overall GPA of at least 3.0.
Desired Skills:
Completed classes on Technical Writing, Modeling or System Architecture. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to work with others in a team environment
