This position will be located in Hermitage, Tennessee which is located outside of Nashville.

In 2008, Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP (Deloitte FAS) will open a new facility in Hermitage, TN for e-discovery and computer forensics work. Deloitte FAS' E-Discovery Solutions Center ("EDSC") will increase the capacity, quality, and efficiency of Deloitte FAS' e-file processing by utilizing state-of-the-art technology in a dedicated environment. The EDSC will be an important foundation from which we can launch our effort to seize a leadership position in a market expected to reach $4 Billion in service revenue by 2010. We are looking for dedicated individuals to join Deloitte FAS' Analytic & Forensic Technology practice and help drive the success of the EDSC.


Job Responsibilities:
§ Support digital evidence preservation, analysis, data recovery, tape back-up and recovery, electronic mail extraction and database examination
§ Design and utilize troubleshooting strategies to solve software problems
§ Develop and test software tools, scripts, utilities, and widgets using a variety of methods and tools that support the e-discovery lifecycle process
§ Assess the functionality and limitations of various computer related hardware and software products
§ Analyze, design, develop, implement and maintain complex computer software systems
§ Troubleshoot and resolve application system and/or software problems
§ Maintain technical documentation necessary to make the assigned systems operational and efficient
§ Research existing computer programs and recommend refinements and improvements to ensure the most efficient methods are employed
§ Research and recommend new software applications and utilities to improve efficiency
§ Liaise with Engineering Lead on troubleshooting strategies, problem resolution and approving source codes


Qualifications:
§ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field
§ 3-5 years of experience in IT industry
§ 3 years experience in the Litigation Support, Computer Forensics, and/or E-Discovery industries
§ Hands-on experience with computer forensics tools to include EnCase Forensic Edition, Forensic Toolkit and Paraben
§ 3 years of experience in .NET or other latest web applications
§ 1-3 years of experience in MS SQL Server and/or MS Access
§ 3 years of experience in Visual basic / VB.NET / C#
§ Experience with E-Discovery applications software, to include both processing and review platforms such Concordance, Relativity, Introspect, and Attenex Mapper
§ Experience with parsing and scripting languages such as Concordance CPL, Perl, etc.
§ Experience with traditional search technologies and tools, such as DTSearch and Wave Trident software
§ Understand and experience with Concept-base search tools and technology such as Attenex Patterns and Autonomy
§ Proficient in Autonomy, Aungate, Attenex, and working knowledge of all hosting platforms
§ Extensive experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
§ Ability to prepare time and cost estimates for new projects and system modifications
