Description:

Provide in depth technical support to customers and sales team for Noran Engineering, Inc. products, particularly NEi Nastran, FEMAP, and NEiFusion. Embraces presales activities such as demonstrations via the internet and at client sites, and post sales activities such as telephone support. Teach training classes across the full range of FEA disciplines, both in the Westminster Office and at client sites throughout US and occasionally overseas. Carry out turnkey FEA consulting tasks for clients. Provide guidance to Technical development team based on experience with clients, competitive awareness development of personal technical skills. Create innovative training and reference material for the company’s products.

Qualifications:

Looking for an engineer with extensive Finite Element Analysis (FEA) experience using NASTRAN. A good breadth of knowledge in this area is required, covering disciplines such as dynamics, nonlinear analysis, composites and fluid structure interaction. Knowledge of CFD would be particularly useful. Advanced engineering degree preferred. Ability to work pro actively in a small team with little or no supervision is essential. Position requires good teaching and customer motivation skills, together with willingness to travel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must. Formal references from recognized FEA authorities required.

Required Skills/Experience:

Must be able to speak and write English perfectly Minimum 5 years of NASTRAN FEA Analysis with Industry or FEA Vendor Minimum 5 years FEMAP, PATRAN or similar software Good technical knowledge of at least one Industry sector

CFD software experience Technical Support and PreSales Experience Strong written and oral presentation skills.Strong MS Word and MS Power Point skillsProven problem solving and Innovation abilities Familiarity with FEA QA, benchmarking and best practices Consulting Experience Conventional Structural Analysis experience Experience with Solid Works or other CAD software Knowledge of Visual Basic
