QUALITY ENGINEER

Minnesota Rubber & Plastics, a custom thermoplastic injection molder, is seeking a Quality Engineer to join us in our dynamic, leading edge facility located in scenic River Falls.

This person will lead the site on quality issues and objectives that meet and exceed company and customer quality objectives consistent with production objectives. This position will focus on the medical and contaminate free molding business. Coordinate local activities for measurement system design, participate in scrap reduction, cost reduction, process improvement activities, while maintaining a focus in ergonomic and safety issues. Responsible for the resource delegation to complete or maintain the following; ISO13485 certification, customer interaction, internal and external corrective actions and process improvement efforts.

Qualifications Desired:

Experience in project leadership/ process

improvement

Knowledge and experience in quality sciences

Customer interaction experience

Knowledge of ISO 13485 Certification

ASQ certification (CQE, CRE, CQM, etc.)

4 year BS degree in a technical / engineering discipline or related experience in plastics industry

3 years quality systems experience
