Elliott Tool Technologies, located in Dayton, Ohio is a leading manufacturer of specialty tooling to the Heat Transfer, Aerospace and Automotive Industries worldwide for more than 100 years. Our immediate need is to find and attract a talented, Mechanical Engineer to work with the Elliott Engineering Team.

Applicant must have the following qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
+ Proficient in the use of AutoCAD or Inventor.
+ Good PC proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
+ Effective critical thinking skills for effective planning/problem solving.
+ Good organizational ability, prioritization, and task focus
+ Average or better teamwork and personal relations skills.
+ Customer focused.
+ Demonstrated creativity and innovation, please supply examples.
+ Good work composure ... ability to handle multiple duties and responsibilities.
+ Ability to be self-directed and take ownership of job responsibilities.
+ Knowledge in the use of measurement equipment i.e. OD & ID Micrometers, Calipers, etc.
+ A knowledge of machine tools i.e. Engine Lathe, Vertical Mill, Band Saw, etc.
+ Good communication skills (listening, speaking, presentation).
+ A real engineering personality type: never met a challenge that could not be overcome with a little innovation.
+ Lives in or within commuting distance to Dayton, OH.

Over the past few years Elliott has dramatically invested in new products and new ideas.
+ A new HVAC cleaner enables jobs to be completed in half the time and operators prefer Elliott's design.
+ Customers were experiencing inconsistent results with an Elliott product that was ultimately traced back to inconsistencies with our heat-treat vendor. Elliott engineering changed to a more reliable heat treat method and as part of the project vastly improved the design.
+ Elliott's tube expander design replaced a competitor's by delivering 50% longer tool life.
