PrimeStar Solar was formed to develop and manufacture thin film solar modules in high volume. Our goal is to be part of the solution to energy supply and environmental issues, including energy self-reliance and climate change.
We are seeking an Engineering Administrative Assistant. Qualified candidates will have at least 5 years administration and support experience, preferably in an engineering support capacity. B.A. or B.S. preferred. Must be proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Experience working with engineering drawings, a plus.
Responsibilities include:
Meetings
• Arrange and set up conference facilities for meetings
• Send out invitations
• Confirm attendees
• Make travel plans
• Publish and distribute meeting handouts
• Set up communication systems prior to meeting
Word processing
• Format and maintain technical documents (specifications, procedures, etc.)
• Write business letters
• Meeting minutes
Organization
• Make and organize project binders
• Organize a variety of data
• Create and update drawing books
• Maintain revision control documents on server
Presentation
• Format PowerPoint presentations using input from engineering
• Post and update engineering information
Budget
• Update Excel spread sheets as required
Misc.
• Check status of spare parts
• Make travel arrangements
