Tetra Tech, a leading engineering and consulting firm currently has opportunities in our Oak Ridge Tennessee office for entry-level engineers under the following disciplines:
-Civil

-Architectural
Qualified candidates must have BS degree and 0-3 years of relevant experience.
Excellent writing and communication skills required. Must be computer literate and have working-knowledge of discipline-specific engineering design and project management software, CADD, along with Microsoft Word, and Excel.
Job Responsibilities – The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineering services to support planning, design, fabrication, testing, and installation tasks associated with the various aspects of engineering. The required services shall include feasibility studies, conceptual design reports, design analysis reports, criteria development, design/installation drawings with specifications and data sheets, performance testing, technical evaluations, and development of material and installation cost estimates. The successful candidate must be able to interface with CADD personnel using Bentley Microstation and AutoCad software. Ability to use various computer-based design packages is required.
Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and be willing to work directly with various customers;supporting mid and senior level engineers with excellent service. Must be able to develop budgets and schedules, monitor progress, and initiate action to assure task objectives and schedules are met and work is performed within budgetary constraints. The successful candidate must have the ability to prepare monthly status reports documenting work progress, including identification of deliverables, funds expended/remaining, and description of remaining work activities, submitted in accordance with customer requirements. The successful candidate must be able to work well with supervision and coworkers and provide a positive contribution to the work environment.
The successful candidate will assist senior-level engineers and project managers with document preparation, data compilation and evaluation, technical report writing and field work related to specific projects.
Positions requires bachelor’s degree in engineering. Professional Engineering Intern certification preferred. Travel will be required.
