Position Description:

ASIC Design Engineer The engineer in this position will be responsible for architecting and/or designing and verifying sections within our multi-million+ gate next-generation SOC. These high performance designs will be part of the next generation of video consumer electronics including HiDef-DVD players/recorders, Set-top Boxes and Digtal TVs. Design work includes: ground up design of high speed coding modules, incorporation and modification of multiple extensible CPUs, delivery and support of core technology into multiple SOCs and incorporation of various third party IP. We maintain a number one market share in most markets served. Qualifications:

Applicants should have a BSEE with a good academic record and a minimum of 10 years ASIC design/verification experience. Verilog coding and synthesis experience are required. Knowledge of video compression technologies is preferred but not essential.
