Position Description:

JT3 seeks an energetic self-starter with strong background in computer system engineering and management. Candidate will be responsible for development, installation, integration, management of high speed, high capacity distributed computer systems and network storage systems. Individual will be responsible for preparation and presentation of documentation, briefings and appropriate design reviews to management and customers in accordance with local systems engineering processes and guidelines. Support direct interface with customers. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, from an accredited college or university, and between 6 - 8 years experience directly related to software application installation and programming. Must have a good understanding of Window/UNIX/Solaris/Linux operating systems. Should have good programming skills in C, C++, C#, Java, Perl, Bash Scripts, Visual Basic, SQL, PHP, and ASP. Must have mastery of concepts, principles and practices of good programming skills. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint). Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication. Work is performed primarily in an office with remote field work required routinely. Occasional overnight support as required. Must be able to qualify for and maintain a TS/SSBI security clearance. Desired Qualifications: Masters degree in Computer Science. Experience in identifying project requirements, defining project scopes of work, estimating project costs and maintaining project schedules. Six or more years experience directly associated with the development and management of network and computer systems.
