Position Description:
Software Engineer Education: MSEE or PhD preferred. Experience: 3 years +, Embedded Software development with ARM/MIPS or other such CPU Experience with embedded OS (VXWorks, ThreadX, eCOS, Linux etc) Experience with middleware and application level code preferred. Understanding or experience with drivers a plus. Knowledge of Digital TV desirable. Understanding of MPEG2, H.264 a plus. Highly motivated, Strong work ethic, quality conscious. Excellent understanding of software architecture and methodologies.. Excellent problem-solving skills. Track record of completing projects on time. Will work closely with driver team to develop middleware and applications for DVB and ATSC digital TVs on a cutting-edge SOC. Will be responsible for developing, testing and maintaining the owned software modules. Will be expected over time to develop expert-level understanding of the standards involved.
